Hi Guys,
I am halfway through the very bad assembly of a Cmoy headphone amp, thats how I found this channel, I very much doubt it will work but have all the parts for a second attempt just in case!
Am very interested in messing about with other projects and impressed with the content here.

Hi Chunks and welcome to diyAudio 🙂
Hopefully you will get a surprise and it will work!!
Tony.
Hope so!
I am really interested in finding a good first build kit for a stereo amplifier, using relatively cheap parts as a learning project.
There is so much stuff on here as a beginner its hard to identify a good "first build"
Ideally buying a kit like the Amp Camp one would be good, although a little more power and using a chip amp would be fine for me. I also need some advice on finding a reasonable power supply - I don't really want to be messing with 240V at this stage.....
There are lots of kits available on ebay but I am not sure about the quality.
Could someone help me out with some recommendations?

Two members here put together a very good guide to building a safe power supply for a chipamp
Building a Gainclone chip amp power supply.
Hope it helps

Probably if you are interested in building a chip amp, ask over in the chipamps forum about kits. chipamp.com is gone, Peter Daniel audiosector.com I think still has some kits, I'm not aware of any others. Ebay could be a bit hit and miss.
