Who winds custom low voltage transformers in the US?

Triad has some low voltage flat stack type of transformers but I'll have to use 3-4 per build instead of just one transformer but what can ya do
Ah, yes. Triad. They seem pretty solid too. I wonder if an outfit like PREM Magnetics will make you a transformer.

The last I talked to Antek it was all manufactured in China
Which explains the price.

They also don’t do custom winds. Their standard stuff is very customizable, though. And still waiting for the other shoe to drop on the impact of tariffs. So far prices have been steady.

Most of Triad’s stuff is made in China too. Their toroids are comparable to Anteks, prices lower in some cases higher in others. Their EI’s are ok quality wise, but performance leaves a lot to be desired. At 20% regulation typical, unloaded voltages can be crazy high. 6.3V ones I bought for heater supplies when doing tube prototypes ended up being almost useless. It was easier to add a 6.3V winding to one of their 115-0-115 toroids than to jack with dropping resistors.
