How come i can't find anyone that sells an lcd panel connected to a driver board with inputs of any kind and no back light?
i destroyed two lcd's getting the panel out. (only one was my fault)
and the third lcd is one that the ribbon can't be moved away from the panel. sits behind backlight so won't work on overhead.
you can by lcd panels for laptops..
do they make an adapter for the driver board or something?
i can't affor the sharp qa 2500 but i can't afford to get another lcd monitor that might not work or break...
what is THE BEST or EASIEST to use and remove lcd panel?
i read all this forum and i saw that Proview's were pretty common, is that the easiest?

Keep looking. I could have sworn I saw pre-stripped LCDs at least mentioned here a while back.

the only pre-stripped one i saw is that small 8" from that UK supplier of lcd projector do it your self project suppliers.
the want like, over 200 dollars. i can go easy on the next one, but i want to buy the best one for the project.
alot of the samsung's are great, but they use a crap load of glue and foil paper to the flappy circuits on the panel. i ended up ripping of of them on the second lcd.
which lcd's don't have those flappy circuits on the sides? those are the most delicate things to deal with in my opion.

well, if no one sells lcd's without the backlight, i'm not afraid to take one apart again, but i just want to know the best 15 inch lcd monitor for taking apart.
