I'll see if something similar exists in XF. We actually do have a top posters block for the RHS planned for the future, on a site, per forum and per thread basis.

Jason, thank you for looking on this! Indeed a cool feature but no need to destruct from emergencies. I didn't catch much of the previous 20 years but I could test your patience for the following...🙂
This is currently scheduled to be resolved with the implementation of a sidebar block showing top posters that will allow one to dig into the top posters for the forum/category/thread as appropriate.
