For me it worked on the op's speaker I owned. Leakage and ESR with lythic caps happens. Accordind how was developped the loudspeaker it may be important or not. Alas the kef 104/2 is precise like a swiss watch.
I measured first each caps capacitance before having decided to swap them. This loudspeaker is a pain to dismantle. I insist onze must replace the roten foam donuts of the bass units. And surrounds of them if you had thoses models.
