"Das Boot" by klaus doldinger.
And I like the most recognizable soundtrack of "wag the dog" by mark knopfler.

I don't have big collection, but my fav is "Conan the Barbarian" - complete score double CD version.
Also very much like "A Clockwork Orange" and "Flashdance"
My biggest disappointment is OST from "Fearless Vampire Killers" by R.Polanski.
The best score in the movie, "Minuet" by K.Komeda (ball of the vampires scene) isn't on the soundtrack.
What an idiots.

Hair, Diva and Grease are favorite soundtracks I have listened to hundreds of times over my lifetime.
Another favorite though not really a soundtrack: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Mo'_Time_(musical)
Not sure how to find it online.

Henry Mancini, especially the soundtracks for Charade and Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Blade Runner, the real soundtrack with run-out music (over the ending credits) as used in the movie, NOT the fake music that was issued on the original soundtrack album/CD.

Does anyone remember the dystopic movie Silent Running by Doug Trumbull?
Best regards!
David Bowie “Cat People” was a pretty good song.
I saw the UFO soundtrack up top. Haven’t heard that in ages. I did like the main theme for season 2 of Space 1999 (another Gerry and Sylvia Anderson program) and the music for the scenes. Set the mood very well.
The Star Trek (original series) is etched onto my brain and is a favorite.

The Three Stooges starting theme.
The Pink Panther from Henry Mancini.
Impossible Mission from Lalo Schiffrin and played by Orbital.
The Adams Family theme.

OK then... Let's try to fill the gap! Ennio Morricone and Joan Baez.to Clockwork Orange, Philip Glass, Ry Cooder. Anyway, as I don't like blatant, low level and boring entertainment by blockbuster movies, I also don't like Zimmer, Morricone, Vangelis and the like.

Game soundtracks deserve a mention. I liked Phoenix Point and Void Bastards.
Absolutely! Although I don't play computer games, there are some great game soundtracks on my list...
Compass (Red Dead On Arrival Version) - Red Dead Redemption Soundtrack -Jamie Liddel
Red Dead Redemption 2 Live Musical Performance Game Awards 2018 -Rhiannon Giddens
Both singers are a class of their own!
I just started to hear myself thru all the videos shown here.+1 with Philip Glass.
I liked the sounding ambiance of the Mandalorian, helped by the quality too (THX?)
Edit : did not remember fast enough, Pierre Henry for Maurice Béjart :
Also Allan Parson Project... David Bowie signed very good soundtracks too
This one is funny: the music seems to be the template for the title track of Futurama
…and there are all kind of electronics parts flying and dancing around, including tubes 😎
Truly a DIY-Audio compatible video!
