I want to know what you guys think about using a Video to VGA transcoder if we use a lcd panel that is from a monitor.
I found one from Comp. USA online that is for around one hundred.
but someone in my apt. complex says he got a viewsonic one for only 80 bucks... but i can't find it for sale online (don't even try Best Buy or any place that has one in a store for pick up)
but what is your take on using one? is there any loss of image quality than using a pc?
do you recommend using a pc over this way?

oh, the only input is component video.
that's why it's 60 bucks, the 100 dollar models have alot more types of inputs.
So i'd have to buy a new satellite reciever that has component video if i want to watch tv on it.
but at leas dvd players would hook up to it.
but i do like it, thanks man............ weird that you can only buy it from the manufacturer....
