Hi, I'm currently building a 2.1 audio system that will be used for party music on a terrace. I've already planned the subwoofer, and for the mids and highs, I plan to use the PRV Audio 8MR500-4, each paired with a tweeter. However, I'm unsure which tweeter to use.
The two speakers for the mids/highs will later be driven with 175 watts RMS (to the crossover). How many watts should the tweeter be able to handle? 30 watt rms? Since the terrace isn't very large, I was tryinig to avoid using a horn tweeter and was looking for a suitable dome tweeter.
Specific suggestions for tweeters that would match the PRV Audio 8MR500-4 and this system would be greatly appreciated.
