So we trade mass for efficiency, when using a dome, at the expense of a narrower bandwidth, a different kind of radiation (convex/concave cone) but allowing to gain one extra of octave towards and over 20 kHz due to the quasi-point source eheh, no, the phisics allows for 1/2, 3/4" to be the smallest domes with 10 W dissipation...which should be the norm. Yours seem 2-5 W... Little magnet...

So as per the above conversation replacing with the cone one will be good Idea but if we had old amplifier and woofer
Here we have different amplifier different woofer 😁
So what do you guys suggest

1)get close to orginal one cone type

2) get the upgraded version of cone type which is silk dome tweeter

Also to be noted my Kenwood speakers are in parallel with my aiwa speaker (the old forum people knows about it)
So we can add tweeter accordingly or just keep woofer in Kenwood cabinet removing all tweeters.

Below attached pic of my setup (one channel)

You have made several threads on these 'Kenwood' speakers and seem not to have absorbed the advice already given.

Basically, you can use any tweeter that fits since you have already replaced the original Kenwood mid/bass speakers with a random pair made by Aiwa.

This is a random lash up (random tweeter and random woofer in random enclosure) that can have no predictable outcome.

or just keep woofer in Kenwood cabinet

Now, that IS a good suggestion.

Remove the 2.5" full range drivers that you have aready substituted for your blown 2" tweeters, and simply run the Kenwood enclosures without a tweeter.

Then you won't have to worry about what crossover to use in the Kenwood enclosures, a matter which previously appeared to cause you some confusion.

There you go, Kamranbits, problem solved! 👍

Yes it will be a good choice to remove 2.5inch tweeter just let the aiwa woofer run and in parallel we have aiwa bookshelf speakers, but what I think is removing this 2.5tweeter might create imbalance now In total we have 2 woofers and 1 tweeter is that ok ?

It's a simple matter to disconnect then reconnect the 2.5" driver in order to listen for any "imbalance".

Less talk and more action, that's what I say!

It appears we are simply going round in circles and, sadly, this is where I get off! 😍
