My point was that if you're going to talk about 2.7 nV/rtHz e_n, then you'd better account for the i_n component as well. Yes, all of these are really getting into a matter of pure specmanship, and I do doubt at low gain you'd be able to tell noise of any of them.

Done; except I used OSI to get a range of source impedances where both Vhiss and Ihiss would be low. The OPA1612 in his stash is beyond any possible need.
This assumes modern hi-fi. <1K source feds 10K load. Guitar's 100K-1meg impedance levels is a different world.
