I used 4 of these for a mobile disco in the 1980's, they were bought brand new then from Maplin Electronics.
I thought at first they were the Fane pop 50's but I have seen pop 50's with a label with "pop 50" on the speakers. My speakers don't have "pop 50" on them.
Then I thought they might be the "Fane classic series" but that series doesn't have a 50 watt model in 12 inch.
I have just bought one off ebay and I had forgotten how good they sound.
They were always very loud too.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I found a pdf of the "classic" series Fane range.
While there is no picture of a 12/50 one does appear in the listing of the different types.
So this speaker is probably a Fane classic series 12 inch 50 watts.
