Stereo Tube Tone Control Baxandall for 12AX7 ecc83 Bare PCB Treble/Bass DIY 699977820539 | eBay

Folks i Just found this project being selled in Amazon and eBay. Its a stereo tube baxandall tone control. Its says It is a high quality project. Low noise, and made to be built with good components. Its a 12AX7 based project

Anyone know something about this? Can it give me some color? Is this a real good circuit?

I like the tone control bax curve added to It. I could shape the sound even more.

What u guys think?

Thanks!

Looking at post # 16.

A 6SN7 is Very Linear for small and medium signal levels.
If it has a quiescent current of a little more than 8 mA, that excess DC current might cause the Lundahl 1680 to generate a little 2nd harmonic distortion, especially at low bass signal frequencies.
Try 10, 12, 14 mA, for example.

Finding a circuit and parts that will generate exactly what you want may be a lot of cut and try.

Using say 6 mA and a different tube (less linear tube), may generate the 2nd harmonic in the tube, with the Lundahl 1680 just passing on the tube distortion, and with the Lundahl not generating any appreciable distortion of its own.

Lots of options.
