Thanks for the info Chrish, I just checked them out. I like the 'filter' search with digikey, makes selection easy.
However, I was hoping to find something local. I can buzz down to "Dick Smith's" at lunchtime and "Radio Parts" on a Saturday morning when I just want to replace that part I just burnt out, however they don't seem to stock high tolerance parts........oh well, looks like I'll have to settle for mail order. I'm sure that there must be a supplier somewhere in Australia for the telecoms community.....perhaps they are all in Sydney.

Yes, but I couldn't see any high tolerance caps on their website. I'll phone the city (Melbourne) store tomorrow (oopss....just a few hours away!) and ask, however I think they only stock the standard 5% or 10% greencaps. I'll report back.
