ok

It is not a complete schematic ...

The only quality I can think of is the build quality. Properties like copper restance, self inductance and allowed (AC+DC) current matter and should be published. When building a choke input supply you better have a strong choke unit so it won't rattle as much on the chassis.

I didn't find the data like self resonant frequency or the frequency dependence of the impedance.

If your going to use a regulator I wouldn't bother with the CLC filter. Its just not needed. Why have the expence and take up the room with something that can induce hum with its magnetic field if not placed correctly. If your regulator is any good it will do a much better job of hum elimination that a CLC filter ever could.

One could obtain Fres with the aid of an oscilloscope; the phase relationship is presented as a Lissajous figure. Only chokes intended for audio use are examined for frequency response, ripple killers not.

Bzed, to some extend you're right about that but there's a limit to the amount (and shape) of ripple the regulator takes without 'quality' loss. Too high PSU impedance is not working in its advance either.

I think it is a kind of voltage follower plus filter.
I am going to use voltage regulator after CLC filter.

My question was about the quality ? I think chokes can sound differently.
After replacing ordinary chokes with e-chokes I've reached the point of no return. The cost of e-chokes are lower than chokes and the quality is better IMHO.

My power tube amp is dead quiet as in black black background. There's is no hiss or hum coming out of the speakers. Nothing. Dead quiet. My speakers makes 95dB at 1W at 1 meter distance...

I'll replace the chokes in my preamp with e-chokes as well.
