Where to scrounge around for electronics in Singapore?

I'm leaving for Singapore on the 24th and will be there with my wife visiting her family. We will be there for about 5 weeks, so where can I find Audio, parts, etc. Where is the Pass dealer?

I have heard capacitors can be found cheaply there. True? What about Mosfets?

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

We have a place here call Sim Lim Tower ( take the MRT, get down at Bugis Station and walk 5 minutes) where you can find lots of electronics components including shops just dealing with capacitors alone.

Russ, when you're there make sure you get to the Adelphi Centre, on North Bridge Rd (you can walk from Orchard Rd or take MRT) Here's a link for what you can expect http://www.stereotimes.com/event021801.shtm

Ok, it doesn't have as many audio dealers as it used to ... is it my imagination or are "beauty salons" taking over Singapore? But it's still a "must see". Be sure to check out the MBL dealer, really nice people and very proud of their gear. Rightly so too; it will absolutely blow you away.
