hello there, im trying to build this circuit, its a 300watt mosfet amp but i cant seem to get it to work. also where can i place a pot so i can get volume control?

At the output of the last stage before the Power Amplifier. But the vol pot may need a buffer to drive the intervening cable.
"There is not one capacitor in the signal path" says the designer of that amp. Clearly he doesn't regard the usual caps at the base of the feedback network or the Zobel as being "in the signal path". Audio seems to attract more than its fair share of self-delusionists! Fortunately, when used correctly, caps do no harm.
