I am really interested in building a DIY projector but I can't seem to find the basic parts I need to build one. I've checked eBay for overhead projectors and LCD screens but there is hardly anything there and anything that is there is pretty expensive.
I was wondering if anyone know where I might pick up an old overhead projector and maybe a 15" LCD screen for cheap in Australia. Any OHP without a bulb would be fine as I should be able to find the bulb I need. With the LCD, one that has something wrong with it, ie. the backlighting doesnt work or something, would be fine.
I just mainly wanna experiment at the moment so I don't wanna spend too much.

Hi everyone! Great forum! I'm from Australia too and if anyone knows a place in WA or anywhere in Australia where i could order parts I would really appreciate it. I mainly need the fresnels and a projection lens the rest i should be able to find quite easily.
