Hello!
A lot of vintage gear used 30mm shafts (or thereabouts), but I cannot find any new pots with this shaft length. It is always either 17 or 20 mm. The only ones that I can find that are longer than this, do not have a knurled shaft.
Any ideas?

Not that common I'm afraid.
1) Why not drill and tap the knob so that you can fit a grub screw.
2) Or cut off shaft of defective pot and use it to extend a standard pot shaft.
