I bought quite a wad from Grey in anticipation of such an event. I'm hoping to find wondrous uses for them. Wouldn't it be nice to use them in the F4? Question is, will they flip? I've read jfets can have the polarity inverted. Guess I'll have to try one and see.

Yes, some JFETs will still run quite happily if you interchange the Source and Drain...BUT...that doesn't change the response of the Gate. It's still an N-ch device.
