Does anybody know what happened to the thread about the NuForce amp modules that someone had just started today ?
Has it been removed after being threatened by an armada of lawyers ??

Nurforce contacted me and said they did not plan on selling their modules to the DIY community, only to manufacturers.
I was not able to edit my original post so the whole thread had to be removed.
Sorry about that

We can't support DIY market at this point due to resource constraint. Further, our pricing is geared toward manufacturer and low quantity units are very expensive.
Well, others have proven it can be done cheaply.
Perhaps you'll give it more thought and reconsider.

I consider it a positiva attitude that they at least answered that question here ! 😎
Maybe there would be a possibility to do this through a sales rep '

I spoke to a moderator and asked to get the thread back with the first post modified, because it would still be good for discussion of Nuforce technology.
It's not necessarily so. It depends how successful they are in selling to the OEM market. It's also easier to sell big batches rather than one by one.richie00boy said:Their loss!
You could do as www.hypex.nl Set a fair price toward end customers let it have a go. I'll believe Hypex is quite successful with their webshop.Nphysics said:We can't support DIY market at this point due to resource constraint. Being a small company I think they just don't have the time right now to be answering questions to diy people one on one.
Prehaps later they can persue this

I share that sentiment, it was a welcome sight.
I'm wondering how hard it would be to run off a thousand modules or so, or even cheaper, an "extra" thousand off of someones order.
That should get you them cheap enough so that you can pass on savings and still profit.
If reasonably priced people will jump to buy them.
It might take six months or a year to sell a thousand of them, but it may be a good trial.
The jist of the idea is you're still mass producing (keeping things cheap) but then selling them individually online, you're profit per module may be greatest that way.
