Where does a folded horn end?

Hello!

I was looking through the internet depths and found this website https://freeloudspeakerplan.rf.gd/
I saw this , and a question arose - how to calculate the angle at which the H4 sticks out and extends the horn if it is flat on the ground? and also the angle where the orange meets the blue part.

Thanks,
August

People used to use rules of thumb. You can see this when you use hornresp and change between radiation spaces. While the calculations are correct per se, they aren't intended to represent removal of individual walls in an arbitrary way.

I don't know what simulator you are using but it's not clear that it is doing the kinds of simulation I'm thinking about. Perhaps if you did a ripple tank style simulation, covering both the high and the low ends of the band, with and without complete wall support etc... and then made a personal judgement as to what lengths to use?
