4000 - 12000uF
56 - 60 V
I just need some cheap ones for a test. To see if I can get an old Marantz PM66KI amp up and running.

look for "electronic parts, new & used" in DEX... assuming you got time to scrounge around a bit.

Try Apexjr.com:
http://www.apexjr.com/new.htm
Go about half the way down the page for 10,000uF 63V snap-in caps ($1.50 each, I got some of these and was very satisified with the service).

Major US sources of electronic components
Major US online distributors of new electronics components (not surplus, not NOS)
Digikey is normally my first pick www.digikey.com may not be absolute cheapest but reasonable priced, and very good in-stock and very quick shipping (less than 12 hours from ordering to on my desk).
Mouser www.mouser.com is a close 2nd
Jameco www.jameco.com cheap but smaller catalog
Newark www.newark.com is expensive but wide selection
That should get your going for just about any audio parts in the US. In the UK, I'd look at http://www.ifwtech.co.uk/g3sek/in-prac/components.htm
There are tons of wholesale, surplus, and discounters as well, but I don't like to recomment them to new builders. Less headaches if you start with known good, working parts, IMHO.
For electrolytic capactors, Panasonic is standard, and United Chemi-Con is cheap, but I haven't tried used them.
