I began watching Troll 2, mostly out of curiosity, but just couldn't finish it...
i made the assumption that i just would't remember anything from the movie anyway, afterward..... so you can pretend i watched it all (i watched half of it maybe) 🙂

Everything, Everything - Amanda is a talent it won’t be hurtful to keep a watch for.
my bad - Amandla Stenberg
a single still doesn't do justice

last night - Sea of Trees
Other than the obvious cheap(?) sell out of his TV commercials - who among us would turn down those checks - be honest, now?, I just don't get the Matthew haters. With over 40 projects in less than 30yrs they can't all be Magic Mike 😀
To whatever length the critics might stretch their talents to excoriate it, I found it a ride worth taking - of course, I also enjoyed Seven Pounds .

I think perhaps that was the point - the fake world is so much shinier and fantastical than we let ourselves see the real to be?
Premier of Lost in Space, episode 1 and episode 2
12 Monkeys
Team America
lots of others I can't remember at the moment.
I'm doing a movie marathon since holding a book is uncomfortable.

But operating that Netflix remote doesn’t take as much work, I guess? Here’s hoping you a speedy recovery- I had a much less serious injury to my rotator, biceps and forearm a few weeks back. Nowhere near as bad as something requiring surgery, but still frustrating as hell when your dominant arm doesn’t obey
Yes, unfortunately it is my dominant arm. I have been trying for six months to get it taken care of, and the health care attitude is " give it time",
Casino Royale (I don't think I have seen Quantum of Solace yet, so I'll look for it)
Catch 22
Blade Runner (1982)
Lifeforce 1985 (Mathilda May is a sweety) will probably be next.

Scratch Lifeforce. Can't get it on Amazon Prime, Netflix, or ROKU.
Leon: The Professional is next (Jean Reno).

I’ve alwys been a fan of Daniel Craig’s - perhaps sacrilege to say this, but I though he got much closer to Bond’s character from what I recall reading Fleming’s novels than Connery ever did. Hell, I even got a kick out of his turns in Golden Compass, and Cowboys and Aliens.
Get better
Get better
If you want to really mess yourself up - could blame it on pain meds if applicable - try WestWorld. I’m not sure if i could endure the roller coaster ride of a Season 2
I've been watching Gordon Ramsay's Hotel Hell on youtube. I think its proof that I'm finally getting older. Then again I haven't been watching Midsummer Murders.
Sean Connery will always be James Bond for me, but that is because I was 13 when Goldfinger came out.
I think technology has changed too much since then to make a truly fair comparison to Daniel Craig.

Fair enough: I’ve discussed this before - my first Bond was Dr No, and let’s just say that Ursula Andress made quite an impression on a 12 yr old, and it only took me until Goldfinger to start clueing in on the middle school grade sexism of the disposable female characters’ names.
Aside from Barry Nelson’s TV appearance in 1954 - which I never saw, and the total joke that was the 1967 psychedelic spoof of Casino Royal, of the 7 actors by my reckoning that were seen in the role on the big screen, only Connery, Brosnan, and Craig count.
Budgets, special effects and action scenes aside, I still think Craig delivered a more honest visceral portrayal of the cynical survivalist that I think Ian had in mind before the screenwriters / producers got their greedy paws on the franchise.
Not that Sean wasn’t horrible in all of his over 70 films, but I just think he’s done much better than Bond, even when caricaturizing himself.
But who gives a rip, and enjoy yourself as much as possible during your recovery

Atomic Blonde. I thought it was excellent, but thought it should have had a darker ending. Can't stand Hollywood's need to glue a happy ending onto a dark movie.
I was in Spain in 62 (Pop was Maintenance Officer for the 872 AC&W Radar Squadron in Constantina), so I didn't see a Bond movie until my family returned in 64.
What? Moore counts, he definitely counts. You may not like him, but he's more important to the canon than Brosnan....by my reckoning that were seen in the role on the big screen, only Connery, Brosnan, and Craig count.
