What is the max projection image size without looking distorted. Any help would be greatly apreaciated.
You shouldn't get any distortion at nearly any projection size if you are using a projection lens triplet (we sell 'em at www.diylabs.org/projector/). The best size is usually determined by brightness/luminosity more than anything else. In my opinion, the best size for that panel would be between 40" and 80". Obviously most would prefer the 80" screen, but my living room is so narrow that a 50" looks much nicer on my projection screen. You should be able to simply move the projector nearer and further from the wall until you get a good projection size that is enjoyable to watch - bigger isn't always better!

Projection Screen
The question about the "best" image size for this or any projector is as much about personal taste as measured performance. When we formulated a polymer projection screen we did not realize that the favorite feature from our customers was that you have full control over the size of your projector screen. Visit our site @ http://www.diytheatre.com/why_diy_movie_screens/control_details.htm and this will explain how you can best determine the size of your home theater screen. Our polymer material could be considered a screen paint by many - but in fact has very special non-interference pigments designed for digital projection. Please contact me at http://www.diytheatre.com if I can help you. We sell these projection screen materials directly on our site.
