As far as guitaramps go, Orange drops are less desirable than Mallories, generally.
I can see that people would pay high prices for original caps if they are restoring a valuable amp, but not for new amps- that's just silly.
Something that amuses me, is that the 22nF mustards fetch a HUGE price on eBay, but the other values don't. Ironically, subbing a 10nF where a 22nF coupling cap used to be will produce no difference in tone in those older designs!
I'm embaressed to say that I did buy a lot of 10nF mustards on eBay, they were only a couple of pounds for 10 though.
