many thanksI had the 165-2000 (mk1) for a good while, absolutley superb midrange and treble. Only sold as we were moving house/downsizing etc.
Most likely not talked about due to the price ~700Euro each, and Supravox themselves have had some supply issues over the past few years, moving manufacturing/owner etc. My first pair were quite far out of spec and had to be re-manufactured at Supravox (at their expense) and the second pair were well matched to the advertised spec.

do you happen to have more measurements?
im very happy with how it measures and i might go with that driver as its much more efficient then what ive decided to go with!
I don't to hand. I believe the newer Mk2 version should be better, with a Qts of ~0.7 its easier to design cabinets for, along with a larger magnet/lower Qes can only be good!many thanks

Hi,"MAOP10" is the best choice for sound quality, and "TangBand W5-1880" is next best.
"CHP-90 mica" is the best choice for cost performance, and "Alpair10.3" is next best.
In terms of sound quality the Markaudio CHP-90 is it better than the new 8" fullrange from SB Acoustics SB20FRPC30-8?
FE108e∑ bought!
they are gorgeous drivers
will try with a couple of 15" and 12"
should i try 200 or 300hz with the small 108e∑?

I find the CHP-90 betters my prior favourite. It is a such an easy and satisfying listen with plenty of sparkle. Definitely the best mark audio driver I've heard so far.Hi,

Ive finished the box for the 12" + 4". should i build a sealed sub-enclosure to isolate the wideband from the woofer?
if so, should i go sealed, or aperiodic?
ill go sealed sub enclosureYes, midTweeter needs to be isolated. Sealed, or aperiodic midTL (i like the latter).

would 2L - 3L be enough?
You want it large enuff to have a Q=0.707 or less. Given teh FE108e∑ 2-3 litres is likely good. No power here, can’t look it up.

FE108ESigma? Assuming modest damping & a low leakage level, Butterworth is about 1.2 litres (effective).

- What's the best 4-8" wideband you heard reproducing the midrange/treble?
