Steely Dan has done a version of this. Ive not heard any of his songs but google is a good place to start to find anything

All I got was lousy casino pages 🙁 But I thought, why not ask here, most of the "older" people will know stuf like deep purple/rainbow which it sounded a bit like.

It's off the album "Cann't Buy A Thrill", it's all really good. The jazz feel is unmistakeable, not in the least bit like Rainbow. The kids of today know nothing😀
If it has got an instrumental solo that is sounding a bit like a Sitar then it is the Steely Dan version (i.e. the original). But there are many who have done cover versions. A quite good instrumental one is on the CD "Garden Party" which is consisting of Steely Dan covers.

Actually looking back I think was 19 when I bought the CD below!
I thought it was "so go back jack". Get the greatest hits album...like 20 years of Steely Dan or something...red I think.
