If you can name it, it exists..
Space is space time and it exists at the quantum level. It is full of Zero point energy, the higgs field, dark matter, and dark energy. It is permeated by gravity and could be part of the 11 dimensions (string theory)which includes time. It is expanding at a rate set by dark energy Space is getting bigger..how can something that doesn't exist get bigger?. Proved by red shift. Say hello to the new ether!
Gravity bends space time..

Thinking about it,
You may have a point beyond the universe...
LOL..there is a thought we don't exist.. We are a figment of our own imagination..Paradox

Beyond our universe is irreverent to us. As Flip Wilson said, " What you see is what you get"
If you can name it, it exists..

You "can name it so it is exists" ?
Consider a doughnut "hole" Does the hole exist? No., we only name it ( hole) it because the doughnut exists. All holes do not exist...... only the material around the hole does . We all commonly refer to holes as common way of repesenting this.
All the other things you mentioned exist in the non existing space.

Ego bibo coffee ergo sum
I drink coffee therefore I am!
Space does not exist?
If this were true, then nothing would be impossible.
An existing(or non existing) universe in a non existing space..
However the universe seems to have rules ie the speed of light.
Is this set by the universe or the space it occupies?
This would also say that the space would be non reactive ie just isn't..
..Olympus comes to mind...mythology..
D how can you die if you don't exist?)
Reflection: You can't die and go on forever or you never existed anyway..(you just thought you did)

Space time,
Gravity Probe B - Special & General Relativity Questions and Answers
It may be that the hole argument is moot!
Space is as quoted in post#61 it cannot exist alone..

If you think of the universe as modeled using the confinement note then it starts being more clear.......or does it ?
Not really,
We can model as much as we want. However the actual tests show that in reality here and now, Space cannot exist on its own without zero point, higgs field, dark energy and matter.
Anything else is irrelevant. All theorys proved or disproved by actual experiments in the real world. We might want it to be different however if it can be proved that the experiment to prove or disprove general relativity is wrong thats a different issue.
IE If string is wrong then its wrong at the moment it looks quite promising.
Some information says Quarks can be broken down to even smaller particles..Yet to be proved even though inital experiments seem to show this is a possibility.

I am not refering to any rejection of spiritual phenomena. I have said and still support there is something. However I am still guided by existing known ideas. Remember in string theory there 11 dimensions (at the moment) not just 4. We are discussing the 4 known ones as far as I know at the moment.
An example is photons.

My one and only speculation,
Space on its own?
If we had proof of life force in this world now (it can exist here)...then why would the existance of "such" require space on its own?
It would still be permiated by higgs etc. The photon is not linked to time in the same way as most other things..Why shouldn't other things be outside of time? As soon as it interacted with us it would have some form of existance. Perhaps detrimental or painfull to it? If it has energy it has mass?
Just for fun.
