I have an old speaker with Accuton C180-6-092 bass drivers.
One has a rattle and obviously needs replacement.
I think it could be the voice coil former coming away from the cone.
(No it's not a broken diaphragm and the tinsels or voice coil isn't rubbing.)
I've sent several emails to Accuton over the last month to see if there is a replacement part.
They have not responded.
Are they having issues with covid ?
Can anyone else suggest a suitable replacement ?
I suspect I may be out of luck as it uses a 180mm basket which I don't believe they make any more.
