What’s best PCI/PCI Express Card for audio system?
How about Digigram PCI card that’s good choose?

I still use Tascam CD and MP3 Player and Philips DVD player and that’s all need large space. Now I want replace with PC or Notebook. Please help me what the best PCI to get professional quality sound, thanks.

My friend recommends me Digigram and Audioscience too what do you think?

Audiosience lacks analog outs - max 4 - if you want to drive multchannel/multiway for active system setups.

The good thing though - at least from my perspective - it supports Linux. Doesn't seem to work on a MAC.


Digigram is well known for it's Ethersound support.

I am also not aware how competetive both of them are on prices.

Checkout their reputation on drivers and support for respective OSes. Sometimes it's the less of two evils to go for the slightly
worse card with better driver support, then the other way around.


The good thing about Lynx you'll get it to run on all OSes ( also under Linux via 4FrontTechnology OSS4.0).

Audiosience and Digigram recommend by my friend who working in Radio Broadcast. His company use RCS automation software to play music and only compatible with Digigram. The price to far from my wallet ......
