As far as I remember:
- "Select Waveform" determines the Active Waveform - e.g. for cursor measurements.
- You can connect to a PC if your unit has the GPIB interface option.
- It's hard for me to visualize the dual timebase problem. But it might be linked to the Trigger Position Setting. Set it to 0% Pre-Trigger, and you should see the same thing in analog and digital mode. If not, can you post a screen photo?

but I don't clearly understant the weveform select, when I move the cursor, the 2 cursors move (1 for each channel)
I don' think I have an option on the scope, but can I connect it to a computer with on of the 2 output ports? Like it the scope was thinking it's connected to a printer, and the pc gets the data to print
