Hello All 🙂
When I was 17, I Tried to make a W Bin Bass Horn
Unfortunately, do to never seeing the inside of a bass
horn, I failed. 🙁
I've had this box sitting in a basement for 6 years, and,
feel its time to renovate this box.
The Enclosure size (Outer dimensions) are as follows:
50 inches High
24 inches wide
52 inches deep
😱
I was considering making a Lab Horn with this box,
but, my wood work skills is not that advance for
such a design.
I'm up for ideas, and, drivers, providing;
1. The Drivers must be 8 ohms each
2. No 12's, 10's, 8's, 6.5's or smaller woofers
should be taken in account.
3. It must be efficient, down, to the low thirties
(34 - 30Hz, -3dB Normalized Gain is the motive)
I will more than likely, feed each driver anywhere
from 600 - 800 RMS (8 ohms) power.
Thanks!

Just scale a 50 inches high, by 24 inches wide, by
52 inches deep enclosure.
omniflex
have u used mcbeans program to model it?
then u can input a driver choose rear box size and build away:-D
try somthing similar to the lab-
small box woofer..
im sure even a 12inch would be ok,,
as it IS horn loaded not a direct radiator
if u want it for home theatre,,but for outside,,perhaps 2x12inch etc.
designing horn throats and boxes and front chambers isnt fun for me,i presume you would use autocad.
🙂 🙂
are there any small box 15s ??
:-D

why not? 2 12s wud be fine,and are often cheaper than a single 18 or 15.2. No 12's, 10's, 8's, 6.5's or smaller woofers
