Can I just use the other unused wires to splice and lengthen the Wire, or what kind of wire should I use? Household romex? any further Insight would be appreciated. Thanks again

I am not clear what you want. Do you want to extand the 12V or 5V from a computer power supply?
18, yea just extend the wires on the AT power supply the 5, 12 and GND to make a longer lead to the panel.
Lengthen Wires
Use the same size wire as a mimimum to extend the ones you have. Twist them together wel fold them over and solder them. Then slip over the appropriate size of heat shrink tubing , shrink it down and you is finished. Make sure that you are generous on the length the first time.

OK cool thanks, One more question, remember a while back someone posted a link to a AT power supply on Ebay that someone had made and It had some Nice silver and Blue tape covering the wire, what was that tape? also where do I get shrink tubing? thanks
I got my shrink tubes from Radioshake. electric tapes as well. They are pretty cheap. As for wires, I used a pair of audio wires. maybe not the best choice but they works and works well. As mwmkravchenko said, use the similar size.
Yea, its not high current, so the wires probably will not melt if you use a wire somewhat of the sme size. I would even go as far as to say an old extension cord would be a nice way to "retrofit" if you were on a budget"
OK cool radioshack it is, still anyone have a Idea on the colored tape that I was describing? I had only saw it a few times when the person on ebay whom sells proxima powersupplies sold one. HUmmmmmmm
It was probably just normal electrical tape that you can buy in several different colors (also from Radio Shack). If you don't want to mess with shrink tubing, you can use electrical tape. It's just not nearly as neat, nor as permanent, and can give you more hassle when messing with the adhesives. Shrink tubing is definately the more organized way of doing it, but I usually just use electrical tape for such things.
