I have a couple of Earthquake BR1270 ( 8 ohm ) subs.
I have been working on a box that is isobaric but a 4th order bandpass.
If you have winISD and look at the picture of a 4th order box it has 2 chambers, the front ( with the port in it ) and the back chamber wich is like a sealed chamber.
now I want to have this type of box but use another seale chamber on the front of the ( front chamber ) and have the 2nd sub fire into it aswell as the 1st sub that fires into it from the oposite chamber.
to me this would be an Isobaric 4th order.
So if using winISD should I choose an Isobaric 4th order ????

I think you could consider two simple 4th order designs with a common duted chamber.
I think you can also consider 2 times the volume for a single speaker design in the duted chamber and two ports.
If you need just one port in the commom chamber you have to do some calculations (or use your software to do this if it has this possibility). Any good loudspeaker cookbook (like Vance Dickason´s, for example), has the equations and more information about your question.
Be carefull with the polarities of speakers to achieve the best perfomance.
