I dunno. Because it's a Denon? A MC? A DL80, vs a DL8? The other competing stylus-less ones you'd have to wait to ship from Japan? It's a long-shot, but doesnt cost me anything to leave the listing up indefinitely.
However, intellectually analogous to OPs dilemma; how long to keep something for sale with no takers, before pitch to garbage can / recycle / thrift and take down the listing? I think it's been over a year on that one. Takes up very little shelf space on one hand... Improbable success on the other.
Well, nobody wants to buy my Sony SL-1000HF Super Beta either... nor the Sony MDP-700...
“That would be a felony here”
Chill out buddy, was a figurative statement.
I take mine to an electronics disposal place where they separate everything and then put it in containers to likely be sent to some other country, sound familiar?

You can always compare searches with the "Sold" filter turned on/off. If there's tons of listings for a particular thing but hardly any sold listings, that gives you a pretty good indicator of the lack of demand for that item.If only Ebay had an option to blank listings you have seen going round endlessly unsold.

I love this thread and am in awe of the amout of items accumulated!
A couple of comments
#1- our area here in SD Cal has twice a year an electronics recycle/dump off event where you can bring normally un-get-rid-abble items like flourescent tubes and CRTs and basically anything electronic for free dropoff. They would probably take Plutonium. They pull in two full on storage containers and fill em up. Great way to get rid of stuff.
#2-maybe you could sell empty shell preamps/receivers/ amps for just their chassis? I made a bunch of diy stuff from old 70s chassis that I removed all parts from. You are keeping the knobs and feet, maybe empty it out and leave those on?
#3 You are feeling the price of fame, unknown people are dropping stuff at your place. Accept the glory!
