A)should I just do a simple BR in a 0.5cf box with BSC?
B)BR bipole with NO BSC? roll-of the rear or run it full?
C) OB it and run down to 100Hz-200Hz and cross over to bipole 6.5in drivers covering 200Hz on down? (using some older Peerless 2732 drivers)

Same here.
Think I´ll go and buy some MDF tomorrow to build the recommended 15l-BR to let it break in and to see if it fits the small enclosure.
After that I´ll most certainly try either one of Martin Kings enclosures as a starting point (further sims with MJK-sheets) or directly
Bob Brines FT1600.
Will know how the BR sounds in a couple of days and let you know.

I made a set of FT1600, I love them, I am now considering what else would be great with this driver. I am currently considering a bipole Tapered Quarter Wave Pipe. FrankDIY has made a nice version of Terry Cain's Abby with this driver it is on another thread.
I made a 1197 TQWP and fell in love with the design, presentation and sound. So I am think ing about upsizing and making a fe167 version. In my room this might be th eperfect speaker. Here is a picture of the 1197BTQWP and the ft1600.
Things are good they both sound great.

First time high-sensitivity and first-time Fostex for me.
Very upfront, musical and lively.
Looks like I have to tune my amps as it reveals a lot of their weaknesses like noise...😎
I´m amazed about the bass coming out of the Fostex and the little cabinet. Very tight/precise and even in my >30m^2-room I don´t miss a lot.
Slightly! boomy still but I haven´t played with stuffing etc. so far.
Enclosure is made out of 3/4"-MDF, butt-jointed with just a bit of stuffing.
As nice as it is but I still do wonder what the FT-1600 sounds-like...
The spirit of DIY I guess...

the speakers have to burn in for a long time
300_600 hours ..
The sound is improving every day
The bass is deep, dry en very clean..
they realy go down to 35 Hz
Hights well i find there is enough...
But the amp is very important ..
I used a HK 6550, a Nait Niam 2 ( souns wonderfull)
and at the present a Mission cyrus 2 ..
The Mission combines perfect with the FT 1600....
