Philips booklet of 1966 with 9710M cabinet plans

Dear all,

The following link may be of interest to you:
http://www.mfbfreaks.nl/artikel/passief/2/
This is the website of a fan club of Philips MFB loudspeakers.
They have posted the complete text of the Philips booklet "Luidsprekerbehuizingen voor zelfbouw" dating from 1966.
In this booklet there are cabinet plans for the 9710M speaker.

Best regards,

Aren van Waarde

NB If someone drops me a line (by e-mail) I can also send you a scanned version of a later edition of the same booklet (English version of the 1970s).

Ciao Guglielmo... 2 pari tu scegli!!!! I have two pairs intacts, one with Alnico magnets and the other with Ceramics ones both 8 ohms... but we're so far away...
For sure they're somethig special, I used a pair long time ago in an OB mated with an 18" Pro Woofer of 98 dB/spl ... (2241H) with an active xover... by far the best imaging I've got..
Cheers
Saluti tanti

The 9710M design on page 17 was my first stereo set, with a 2.5 Watt 4 transistor amp. Later a 10 Watt design.
Not the most sophisticated treble but wery nice speakers I recall.
