occasionally had my hands on two sony 4560 faceplates with all stuff, boards, switeches etc. Dismantled from working units, used power vfets for another project. There are 2 pcs sk63 on each, in riaa section. I understand they are n-channel vfets. Is there any beautiful schematic of linestage or MC phono? Boards possibly? Search gives no result.
First generation fets ( not mos) -not low noise -- "beautiful schematic " --for them ?
I will let somebody else tell you to fit them in a MC situation as a Japanese website says they are "30db " .
I am not saying they cant be used in audio just they aren't up to modern low noise standards .

This preamp works well.

here's a part of original schematic:

Adason,s link shows BF245B not 2SK63 and your schematic shows fets in an output position not in a sensitive input position.
Sorry, my link is not suitable for your fet.
However, someone posted sony ta-5650 schematics, and there right after the volume control is nice line level circuit you can copy.

Sony`s superior technique developed for audio amplifiers. Output transistor in a very low power headphone amplifier?

Yes, they are noisy, but they are as linear as vacuum triodes are, you can put them as a first stage of a single ended power amp. I.e. to connect a mosfet voltage follower after the voltage gain input stage with those transistors.
Send me a PM, I have my own schematic 🙂
P.S. I am a fluent speaker in russian 🙂
I don't like the SRPP and other cascodes, there are too much dynamic
distortions, a simple voltage gain stage is better, these guys are linear,
it is not necessary to run them with a constant drain current, simplicity
is the most important parameter in audio and the SRPP and relatives are
not as good competitors in such a "run" 🙂
