What to Build? Krell KSA50 or Aleph 5?

Hey all, I just picked up one of those cool fancy Class A Chassis from this site and have a fully populated Krell KSA-50 and Aleph 5. I need to decide which one to build.

I already have the Krell KSA-50 Clone (2SA1943/2SC5200 output devices) and am very happy with it. Just finished populating the Aleph 5, and also just traded an unopened AMP10 for a another populated Krell KSA-50 Clone (with MJL21193/21194 output devices)

I am driving Magnepan MGIIIa.

The chassis is here:

I am quite sure the sinks should be able to take either, if not, I will max the bias to get no more than 60C if I have to. I also have a 20A, 24CT tranny on its way to power the amp. Probably better suited for the Aleph than the Krell.

This one will likely be my "Keeper" reference amp.

Yup, I agree. Leaning toward the Aleph.

But I trust I won't offend Papa Pass by putting the Krell in the Pass inspired chassis.

Think the Aleph will drive the Maggies well? Anyone have a Aleph 5 driving a similarly dificult load? The Krell Clone I have drives it nicely.

Build the Aleph. You don't need 2 KSA-50's. They both have different sounds. :smash:
