Hi all i have just started my project i tried using a frensel lense but i wasnt to satisfied with that. So i decided to try a lcd pannel first what do i need and where can i get it p.s i am living in the uk so american auctions wont help. So please help help help.

Getem56, I believe that panel will work well for you. I'm not too familiar with those panels, so I would do some further investigation into what the true specifications are on it. The VGA resolution appears good and its a TFT panel so in my limited experience those are both good things. I'm just beginning to use a similar panel in my setup and so far I'm happy with it. Using an OHP projection panel and a good OHP is about the quickest way to get into home projection. But please check this panel out further, as I would not want to steer you wrong 🙂 Smoke Eater

If you are looking to build your own projector can I suggest that you read stickies 'DIY Projector' Parts I & II . All information and theory that you require is within those threads. Yes they are long, and it will take you a long time to get through, but everyone else who has built a 'from scratch' projector has read and contributed to these huge knowledge/research bases. Once you have got through them, you will be very clued up on what you can do in terms of from-scratch projectors - look at it as an initiation process 😀

Personally I would do like vinyl said, check both threads.
They contain a ton of info on the parts you need.
In it's simplest form, you need a good overhead projector and an lcd panel.
for specific parts, etc..., check the threads 🙂 I believe they "might" also have info on parts from the UK.

ok i have now got a ohp and a tablet (which i found in a carbot cheap) what do i do do i put it one the ohp and watch away.
Also my friend is starting to build a projecter and he dosent want a ohp one so whats this one where you build it with the delta iv lense hwo does this work and which is better
