Can't do those calculations, (under educated), but missus gives them a perfect 10! Straight from the horses mouth, can't beat that!
You sure can't Mick!! Unfortunately I know I can't say the same about my three ways, but the SAF did go up appreciably when I painted them matt black, covering up the beer stained flaking chipboard...
I can't ask the other half about the MTM's because she has been away since they started getting closer to completion, but I think they will have a much higher SAF.
The calc for the MTM's come out at between 1.38 and 1.55 depending on my estimate of cost 😉 That is the thing that really brings them down, the low estimate is $1200, I suspect in reality it is closer to the $1500 mark and could even be higher.
When I add in the three ways as stereo subs the SAF comes down to 0.39 😱 Maybe there is something in it 😉

hehehe what I don't know is whether the volume and floor area is for one or both!! I only used one, I'm doomed if you are supposed to do both!! 🙂
But I could effectively make the price VERY low if I took out everything I purchased before I met my other half, that would drop the price by $1000 or more 😉 But you are right, if I were to buy the equivalent drivers now, they'd probably be $300 - $400 cheaper!!

lol, actually SY they don't take up any real room in here at all 😉
This is my hifi & home theatre room so i kind of cheated & filled the bay window with the subs which also blocks out the light so no curtains needed when i use the PJ 😀
They actually only protrude from the wall by about 2cm, nothing really 😎
