noob here. I am enjoying all this info on class D and class AB amp modules, high wattage for very low costs. I have a background in electronics, so assembling and testing should not be a problem. I want to try a go at making a 300 to 500 watt bass guitar amp. I am wondering what people are using for the front end on these diy's. A hi-z preamp input with eq. Are there any modules out there like these power amps I am seeing around here? I am hoping for at least a 3 band eq with a variable mid range control. 4 bands (two variable midrange controls) would be very nice. Maybe a two stage input pre amp for an optional overdrive sound. all at very low cost modules. I just saw a dual rail power supply that would also be good.
