(Unless a personal preference, which is to be respected, of course). Sealed ,OB, horny stuff…There almost doest seem to be a reason todo anything besides one of these? All things considered, except a size constraint?
Thoughts?
Other than huge size, impulse response/energy storage issues, limited bandwidth, delay alignment, peaky response, matching other subs, few other reasons come to mind. There almost doest seem to be a reason todo anything besides one of these? All things considered, except a size constraint?
Everyone has their own priorities..

Art,
If you can point anything out, specifically, your ideas are very respected and appreciated/wanted.

art, thats not the question (yet, of course thats ‘next’ but..).
Trying to pointsomething out It’s completely unconventional and outside of the most experienced and just needs to be dumbed down and not so deeply scrutinized (yet).
Consider this a study of wave lentgths that are repeated. But the only way to do that is to not use advanced centerline method..
and the resulting tuning versus what you tell horn response versus what really happens is what this is all about( initially) but it goes far beyond that the results whatever they are might possibly coincide precisely with the (numbers as freqs, not ‘actual’)functions of gravitational waves and magnetic and electromagnetic because of opposing polar opposites that are both clocked in this way and separated by a precise distance not at random.

Drivers are at 20 cm all of the internal links are 80. If anyone can sim this (however they want to) greatly appreciated
The cross-sectional area on the motor side and in the latter section of the front side is the same(187 cm2)
the fromt side in first 2 folds is 93.5cm2
drivers enter at 20cm(4 centered as two pair)
Sd 50
Re 7.8
Fs 59.21
Vas 2.55
Qes 0.54
Qms 2.31
Le 1.9
Pmax 40
Xmax (mech ~>8mm)

This stuff is ‘crazy’ but it makes sense at the end… inside the subwoofer designs that use both sides of the cone and clock timing so to speak using intervals of a circle circumference reveal a sequebce of details in the frequency response and simulation that we usually would miss because we never look or think too…?
regardless of assumed potential details, it might surprise us all at the results.
80 cm(3.1496 as pi ) is 108 hz
But if you stack three of those on top of each other and another from the other side the fundamental frequency or test tones played through this at variety of frequencies get really weird really quick
(864 is Gone 1728 ,2592,3456,4320,5184,6048,6912,7776, 8640,9504,,(The rest you have to see in the sim I cannot pick it up good enough with imm6 yet, still looking for another method) .
Right at the exit ‘junction’ is some unique action. Even a generic phone app rta can pick it up,
I had to duct tape laptop back together cause it took a little spill out in the country trying trying to measure this with the cows in the pasture … or I’d have more info now I’m stuck in a room now… for a bit. Baby gorilla tape but I’m pushing my luck before the whole thing breaks in half
