Creedence Clearwater Revival
WILLY AND THE POORBOYS
I happen to have about all their LP's.
Summer in Europe, so today at random I put "Willy and the Poorboys" on the turntable.
They are still my prefered American band, after allmost 50 years this music is still indestructable. This is the happy music from my youth, this quality will never return... Radio stations over here play CCR songs daily.
Some years ago I saw John Fogerty solo in Belgium. John Fogerty IS CCR!
A great honour to attend this performance.
Still a great and unique performer after all these years, a giant!

These are the first two 2 record sets I have had that DO NOT GO IN ORDER! (On the first record is side 1 and 4 (Instead of 1 and 2)) Did they used to do them all like this??
My copy of The Who's Tommy looks the same: sides 1 & 4 on the first, sides 2 & 3 on the 2nd record. These pressings were intended for record changer use: If you put it right, 1st side to play is record 1 side one, next is side 2 (record 2 side one), after you swap the pile, side 3 (record 2 side two) is played, finally side 4 (record 1 side two).
Best regards!
