Yes, lots of clubs here. Some sponsor junior riders thru cat 2 semi-pro men and women. There is a ride for virtually any skill level every day of the week, with racing in the evening thru the spring and summer. The bigger club rides are on the weekend, which are the one's that have the most interactions with motorists. There are rules laid out by clubs when out with a group, but they aren't always enforced. Just depends on the club, and how serious they are.

We get the Lycra clad demons round here, always ride two abreast up hill and have total disregard for the highway code (well a few)🙂
Its following a pair of lycra cad middle aged men up a steep hill that causes most of my mental trauma, once had one in while lycra, I had to crash my car to avoid the view....

lycra clad middle aged men
(on the upside, men in tights over 50 cross the finish line with a testicular carcinoma award)
The leather-clad can also be annoying. There is a road i like to drive: narrow, twisty, hilly, spectacular views, and fun to drive fast. It is also popular with middle-aged Harley riders in large groups. They rumble along at 50K, too close together to pass singly, and too long a line to pass all at once, so my 90K fun drive becomes dawdling along in 3rd gear *yawn*.

Yeah, how incredibly boring. Myself, I'd be on an RC51, or BMW R1200S.
