Without going online, is there a recommended material that one can buy at a local fabric store. Using it to line the inside of a BIB.
If i understand you right, you are looking to absorb sound pressure inside a cab. The material i've had the most success with is available usually free at your local auto wrecker. The insulation used under the carpet in cars and and picup trucks is remanufactured synthetic fiber designed to absorb road noise and make the ride in a car quieter. It is thin (about 1 inch thick) and easy to cut shape and manipulate into any form with a light application of steam. I have used this quite nicley inside a pair of powered p\v ps12's to eliminate the hum and hard internal vibration of a moulded cab.
Cheers.
