Hello all you DIY Audio guys and girls!
A pleasure to be here!

Please would someone help

I have recently installed a student version of Mulitsim.... Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Here is a simple differential amp circuit with only a single rail supply voltage. somehow the op amp is inverting the DC signal to -2.5V

Would someone kindly explain why this is happening please?

Hi, well spotted but no Cigar!

The op amp is flipped. If you look very closely you can see in grey that the - VS is on the top and + vs is on the bottom. I did this just to tidy the schematic up a little.

Thanks for your input... Any other ideas please?

Yes I noticed that your opamp was still connected correctly. But its decidedly non-standard to choose +24V for your reference (earth symbol). With all voltages more negative than 'earth' your meter reading is in fact quite correct even though your input voltages are shown as more positive than your 'earth' which in real-life would freak out the opamp (beyond its CM voltage range).
