Just a thought,

reality?

The mirror?
I was thinking about something simple like an argument and watching it escalate into something that perhaps doesn't even resemble the issue it started out to be.

Then the thought of a room full of people in a party: all is well and every one is having a good time. If one person in the room started being aggressive and venting perhaps bad remarks to every one around them each in turn you would have the whole room now acting as a mirror with the focus of attention being the one person who started it. The impact would now seed the feelings of the others around them and it would be difficult to retune to the room before all this happened.

In this scenario the universe is acting like a mirror and reflecting back the energy emitted what does this say about reality?

Has the energy been transmitted to others? who may now go away and carry this with them..the point being does this energy exist..can energy take other forms?
What is the difference between energy in a reaction and energy in emotion.. surly its just energy?

With something like a computer program when the sub routine finishes there is no lasting storage of energy..the computer is just reflective of the program running at the time. Does emotional energy exist? Is it just linked to memory ie the memory of what happened which would seem different to the computer storing a result of a program, however the two would seem to be similar.

The emotional energy would seem to have the ability to regenerate itself at a later time, how can energy do this? ie one wrong word and it starts all over again like releasing the air in a balloon. The energy seems to create a pressure that needs release.

Is the energy self motivating, where does the line exist between emotion and reality?

The mirror,

I look in the mirror and I see me? (do I see me if I don't exist)
Do I recognise the reflection? Or do I feel like the me isn't the person in the mirror.
Who do I see in the mirror of my mind?

Self aware <<<please explain what it means.

if so - isn't science about continual questioning of what we think we know, and sometimes the answer is - "well, here's something new" - now, let's see how many ways there are to misinterpret it 😉

That's always the question, but then again perhaps we already are misinterpreting it 😀 or we could understand why it takes 95 % of something else to create the 4% of the reality we see the 1% is probably another unknown..😀. We would also know why we think we are alive and also that we think we die.<<you have to be alive to die😀

Just the idea that something can be infinite is beyond belief.
How we will ever be able to know what reality is I have no idea because we will never be able to tell if the reality that we understand is not another illusion. Perhaps even realities could be nested like the Russian doll.

Signal transmitted, message received;
Reaction making impact invisibly.
Elemental telepathy, exchange of energy;
Reaction making contact mysteriously.

Eye to I, reaction burning hotter;
Two to one, reflection on the water.
H to O, no flow without the other;
Oh but how do they make contact with one another?

Electricity? Biology? Seems to me it's Chemistry.

Emotion transmitted, emotion received;
Music in the abstract positively.
Elemental empathy, a change of synergy;
Music making contact naturally.

One, two, three, add without subtraction;
Sound on sound, multiplied reaction.
H to O, no flow without the other;
Oh, but how do we make contact with one another?

Electricity? Biology? Seems to me it's Chemistry.

In through the out door...

The problem here is one of evolution.
The universe seems to be evolving (expanding) but our intellect is not.
Not enough to encompass the idea of infinity.
Just for fun- what if WE are the antimatter, and are witnessing a Big Crunch in reverse?
To paraphrase Dr Morbius, maybe our ape's brain can't see or accept this, anymore than the Krell could master their Monsters from the Id, after they'd made a machine to make pure creation from their thoughts.

So how can a dead cat walk into a bar- or anywhere, for that matter? I'm guessing that only one of those potential conditions could achieve such physical mobility - as we understand it

My brain hurts

It could if it was zombie-cat, or animated-by-nanobot cat, but Schrödinger posited it couldn't happen without an observer to will it into existence.
I think I read somewhere that reality may cease to exist when we blink, or at least portions wink out when we don't perceive it.
That's weird.
But reality really is vast empty spaces , occupied by minute amounts of matter, which may be energy fields.
Which leads me back, as always, to wonder if light is the ultimate expression of reality, and possibly the last indivisible thing-eternal, yet malleable, timeless, yet springing in and out of existence, particle and wave, subject in some ways to thought, (when observed) and therefore possibly similar to thought.
And not.
😀

I was just thinking..

Life...

At what point is a living thing not alive?
Ie is it the person, is it the organ, is it the cell, is it the DNA, is it the molecule or the atom, is it the particle.

I just thought it was strange..or is none of it alive ?..😀

Greg, your lingering question need an answer. (.asc->.mp4)

//

Think deeper..😀
Here is a thought...what is the sound of no sound..what is the existence of nothing...what is knowledge when you can't describe it.. what is unknowable..
and so it goes on...what does it mean to be alone..what does it mean to be..what is the point of light and dark..what is existence and what is not.
And what is the sound of one hand clapping and how do you know its not?

just for fun..synchronicity...

😀

But of course we are only just now realizing the spaces are not empty, that light may be a tiny residue, that everything we have heretofore perceived is barely frost on the glass... so it seems to me our capacity to perceive has no bearing on what's going on here. And light may be a mere ripple in the invisible pool.

A better answer?

The cat in the box can be both alive and dead, not at the same time, but because time is all the same!
If one eliminates the idea of time having a beginning and an end, then we all exist within it, alive, and dead.
The passing of time would be an illusion; therefore, moving through space would be illusory as well , as movement requires time to pass as well.
This means time and space are actually the same thing, as is everything "within" it.
So there's no difference between me and a rock, or you and a tree.
As Donnie Hathaway sang, Everything's Everything.
Hope this helped/will help/ helped.
