Thanks i think i am beginings to uderstand amps. have i got this right that in an amp because transistor dont give a linear increase in current you use resistor to counter this and give a more linear amplification

I asked my professor in semiconductor technology about these +- 14 Volts max gate voltage in the datasheets of 2SK135/2SJ50, what happens if I exceed the voltage?traderbam said:
I replied: I have never built anything....I only make them (he really made semiconductors of his own in his lab).
= never ask a professor about something practical!
