See what I mean?

Huh? I don't think anyone here knows what you are trying to express.

I don't want to make any assumptions, but you seem insulted by the idea that tubes have a characteristic sound. They all sound different from each other depending on the circuit and the tube, but in single-ended mode they don't sound like solid state either. They are indeed warmer and more pleasing, and people have used Tube Buffer -> Chipamp with happy results.

I ll just note that an engineer should be able to design for the specific goal.
If the goal is less distortion, there are ways to accomplish it.
If the customer wants liquid euphnic, organic and syrupy, he should be able to accomplish that, too.

A person who knows that art, is distinguished from a tinkerer who only wants to get "that" sound, whatever that sound might be.

Preamp with PCC88

Hi guys!
I want to try to do the preamplifier with PCC88. At the anode to tie the series resistor 12k/2W, and to put on the cathode resistor of 470R/0.25W, and the input resistor to be 1k/0.25W. Coupling capacitor of 470nF/63V and potentiometer 50klog. The output coupling capacitor to set the MKP 2u2/100V.
Anode DC-voltage Ua= 120V/10mA. What will be the output resistance of the preamplifier Zout =?
Does this preamp will work well? or should I change some values of components?
Thank you for your cooperation!
